In this collection of stories we do a tour through world history, from the French Revolution to ancient Baghdad, and into folklore and mythology. Dream plays a role in all of it, influencing the fate of rulers, gods, and mortals alike. I appreciated the guest artists' contributions and the ambition of the collection, though my attention started to wander at a few points where I felt the retelling didn't seem to add much to the story we already knew.
