Stages of Rot by Linnea Sterte

5.0

Absolutely stunning graphic novel with a story that spans many hundreds of years, about the natural life and humanoid society that grow and evolve around the carcass of a dying whale. The art is the star of the show, and Sterte keeps the plot and words minimal in order to really showcase the visuals. She zooms in and out from the microscopic level to birds-eye views of scenes and each cell on the page is a work of art in itself.
