Out of all Sarah J Maas' series, Crescent City appears to be the weakest. The worldbuilding seems a bit lazy, the characters a bit dull, and the book was way too long. All that being said, I couldn't help but enjoy it. SJM just has a way of sucking you into whatever she writes and making you invested. This was also a reread for me, so I was more prone to find flaws that good features. While I will definitely continue on with the series, I don't think I will enjoy it as much as ACOTAR or Throne of Glass.
