Such a lovely, cozy, heartwarming book. The first time I read it, we were in the throes of infertility treatment, and it was a source of warm fuzzies when life didn’t seem to be throwing us many. As I finish it now, in the midst of my second maternity leave, I am delightfully surprised to find both of my kids names among the residents of the island. This book is a beautiful, wholesome picture of love among members of an unconventional family, and it was just as delightful a read the second time through.
