Took me a while to get into this because I'm naturally sceptical that anything for children that feels a little too 'literary fiction' to me always feels like its not really for children but for the grown ups who lead circle reading. I'm still not 100% sure children will love this, but I thought it was a sweet little book that's perfect for this time of year.
