Life on the Golden Horn by Mary Wortley Montagu

My 31st book finished in 2023.
I took pictures of the pages back in the UK, and have been reading it slowly over three months. I have read sections in Florida, the Caribbean, Mexico, South America and I finally finished it in Bangkok, Thailand.
I found this book quite dull. As with the series as a whole, it is informative, but written in an uninteresting way. Of course it's just a collection of letters, and I dislike letters used in books as a framing device.
It took me a long time to finish for such a small book. I also have a theory that Lady Mary was a secret lesbian - just look at the way she wrote about other women!
