This was a fantastic and evocative read. Somehow, it made me fell the same way I felt when I was a teenager discovering Neil Gaiman for the first time. It was the same felling of awe towards the way the author wrote about magic and wonder in the story, of powers we don't fully comprehend and flawed characters dealing with high stakes. But besides this shared sense of awe and magic, those two authors could not be more different. What I wanted to highlight is that very few authors are able to write about magic and even gods in a way to induce awe in both the characters and the readers. And this I think the most important quality of this book.
Graphic: Gore and Violence
Minor: Sexual violence
