Drowning by T.J. Newman

Mike read her first book, and the author's style sounded interesting. The action is almost non-stop from the first page. I've seen criticisms that some of the book gets too technical, but that didn't really bother me. I found some of the characters a bit underdeveloped, but that may have been the point—strangers in a life-or-death situation aren't going to share their entire history. They're functioning in the moment, trying to survive.
I'll read the author's first book—but not until after my upcoming trip.
