For most of this book, it was a solid 4 star read for me. An absolutely wild first few chapters and some pretty incredible world building kept me glued to the page in excitement. Unfortunately, I found the ending to be disappointing, predictable, and too tropey for my enjoyment and that took the book down a star. Still, overall, a book I quite enjoyed and I'm at least curious about where the series goes.
