The haunting of hill house is one of my favourite shows. it is so well thought out and literally blew my mind. Which is why i decided to read the book. Tbh, im a little disappointed, i feel like i would rate this lower if it weren’t for how much i love the series. Without the show (i can’t believe i’m saying this), this book wouldn’t be special. I feel like the book needs the show to make it better but not vice versa.

Anyways, im not horribly disappointed, this could’ve been so much worse. It was just a little underwhelming.
