God of Malice by Rina Kent

5.0

“It’s useless to find refuge in anyone but me, baby.”

Glyndon is a good girl: she never causes any trouble and does even less to attract attention. Killian Carson is a predator wrapped in sophisticated charm. One night on the cliff where a tragic accident took place, Glyn catches his attention. But now it’s too late because once a predator catches sight of its prey, it’ll chase it until it's caught. Glyndon wants nothing to do with him, but Killian will stop at nothing to make her his.

“She says that she wants more, but how can she not see that I’ve been fighting more battles than I signed up for ever since she came along.”

I have had my eye on Rina Kent’s books for a while and had never picked one up until this arc was given to me but boy, was that a mistake! To say I’m obsessed with her writing and characters and this whole she has created would be an understatement! One thing about me, I love interconnected stories following family and friends! And despite this book being a standalone, it is the 2nd generation to The Royal Elites. I will be going back to reading all of the 1st generation books & falling in love with this world all over again!

Note: check TW/CW! This is Book 1 of an interconnected standalone series that is ongoing. This book contains a morally black character & themes that are not suitable for everyone.

Thank you to Rina Kent and Valentine PR for this ARC copy. This review was written honestly & voluntarily based on my own enjoyment of the book.
