I LOVE THIS BOOK!

I have not felt this pure joy while reading a book, since.. Heartstopper. And I may or may not be crushing on Leon <3

I adore a book with any form of written correspondence (You've Got Mail is one of my favorite movies) I simply find the idea alluring, and this book did it so well with The Post-It Notes *chef's kiss*

I also appreciated how forward the book is, without being too "in-your-face" about its Feminism, like how it rejects gender norms i.g; making a female character a plummer, without batting an eyelashe, or having the woman in the relationship have the more outward personality, making the first move.
Little things normalizing it. I quite liked that.

The way the two main characters are the polar opposites of each other in everyway (even in race, and I'm a sucker for an interracial relationship), yet they.. for lack of better a cliché "complete each other".
Speaking of race, I liked the subplot of the injust justice system, and how delicately the author dealt with that topic.
The gas lighting, the emotional abuse, are also sensitive topics that were handled well.

it's adorableI, and healthy in a wholesome way. It's shocking how there aren't that many books that portray a healthy romantic relationship.
it's everything i'd want a romance to be!

Anyways, sometimes you just need a good a cutesy feel-good book, and if you're looking for one- I'd definitely recommend it. Before finishing this book I'd already recommended it to a few of my friends. SO.. you know ;)
