3☆ Review:
“Are you stupid or something?”
“Yes. I have been told I am stupid.”
Nameless (I won’t spoil what his name ends up being) was hard not to love. He was so clueless and I knew from A Soul to Keep that I would enjoy reading about him. All he wants is a human of his own, though he has no idea what that really means just yet. His character is what truly kept me reading.
“If you do not want to be responsible for your life, then give me your soul.”
Unfortunately, I didn’t connect with the main character, Delora. In the beginning, I felt her pain and was excited to learn all about her. However, as the story progressed, there was almost no character development. There was only so much self-deprecating I could take before it began to get old. I did like her, but considering how long this book was, I was really hoping for more from her.
Don’t let this discourage you from reading this because I still enjoyed the story. Plus, you get to see more of Orpheus and Reia!
I’m looking forward to the next one!
