first of all, ryle is a walking, talking, breathing... RED FLAG.
the only annoying thing was that she kept a diary and addressed it to ELLEN DEGENERES. she's awful and i don't like her, but like okay. i can get over it...
the first scene when ryle hit lily really hurt me. i felt so angry i wanted to scream. can you tell me how someone can be so disgusting as to beat their own wife? oh, damn it!
and it got me thinking. i got chills just thinking about how many women experience abuse and continue to tolerate it just for the sake of their kids or like in general... they're so afraid to do anything, to say anything. it hurts. like what the fuck. fuck guys like ryle.
i was definitely hooked. i look forward to more books from this author as i am impressed with her writing skills and style.
