Yo! (Can I start a review with yo? Well, I did it anyway). The Secret Lives of Church Ladies is an interesting collection of stories. The book is short (192 pages), but it's all about quality with this one. Each story follows a different woman who was raised in the church or has a connection to the church. The stories were not connected (well one character makes a repeat appearance). I enjoyed each one, though. I was shocked, intrigued, and entertained throughout my reading journey. The writing is tasteful and the characters are relatable and real. It deserved all five of my stars.
