another banger by ottessa moshfegh. i love love love her flawed, raw, dirty and “bad” female protagonists. she knows how to perfectly encapsulate the dimensions of human beings, while delivering funny, punchy, short and thrilling stories. i loved it, as i love her. i specially loved that it was in the 60’s, and i could imagine the town based on the imagery. the prison setting, new england’s freezing cold atmosphere, i was entranced by all of it.
