The Dead Cat Tail Assassins by P. Djèlí Clark
5.0
There is something magical about Clark's writing that really transports the reader into whatever fantasy he's constructed. The city of Tal Abisi is just as alive (or undead) and rounded as the characters that live there. There is humor, danger, adventure, and machinations that make this book more of a quick read than its physical length in pages. Hopefully we can get a chance to return here in another novel/novella.
