I read through finding the author on Mastodon. The cover is fabulous and I immediately got it on my eReader. WFEB took awhile to cozy up to, mainly because the lives of the two mains in this fantasy-driven scifi didn't seem to diverge . They eventual do, but it takes time, time that I almost didn't give it despite the awesome worldbuilding. Perhaps the mains were too young for me (I am old and crochety) but the ecological drama kept me reading.
