wtf kinda “romance” book is this

I went into this expecting a light sports romance & I ended up with a wattpad fic about abuse. & even then it fell flat. I didn’t care about one thing that happened in this. You genuinely can’t even call this a romance novel the main characters were barely even in contact throughout the entire book. 

You expect me to believe ONE NIGHT where they “talked about everything” leaves a lasting impression to where years and years go by without these characters seeing one another or talking to each other, and they’re just head over heels? THEY DONT EVEN KNOW EACH OTHER.

Everyone was just so fucking cringey. I couldn’t even binge this novel without gagging or rolling my eyes at nearly every scene. I was so annoyed almost this entire book. Not to mention there was BARELY any chemistry between our two MC’s.

I don’t like the direction this book went & I didn’t give one fuck about the romance quite frankly. The way Kennedy Ryan gets hyped up I thought this was going to be a masterpiece. Wrong.
