As always a pleasure reading the forbidden and religious aspect of this book. Absolutely an excellent book!

Lucas and Sadie shenanigans in the class room and home while being roommates AND being attracted to each other while she’s pregnant (but not with his baby) was definitely entertaining to read. 
And yes mutual irritation is definitely some of the BEST spice! 

📚 But of course this book deals with so much more than a hot fling. It is characters dealing with childhood traumas that have followed them into adulthood that impacted their lives; this book like the others before pokes at religion and beliefs, which is very important and thought provoking. 
But it’s also  about these characters realizing and facing their traumas and beliefs while forcing them into becoming a more better version of themselves .
📚 This book had me thinking and up in ALL my  feelings! 
Because I still don’t understand why he had to give up his Dream.. why he had to choose; to me this was extreme and unrealistic, a choice just to prove how much he is changed and how much he valued Sadie? 
I’m still pissed even though the book ended on a positive note. 
But hey that’s what Sara cate book seemed to be about .. pushing the boundaries and some times writing the not so common narrative.
But I still couldn’t help falling in love with Luke character and his way of dealing with things which showcases just how deferent each brothers are but just how sweet they all are! 


While This series never ceases to surprise me in the best and simplest ways. 
 Sadie and Luke journey was not how I thought it would go. 
Sadie's life is chaotic out of sync and now she's pregnant from a one night stand. With no good idea and indecisions she finds herself moving in with Lucas Goode. Her college professor. Her Boss husband brother. But still virtually a stranger who seems to bring certain values to her life. 
There's just something about him that helps settle her chaos.

"Do you want to be punished, Miss Green?"

"It'll be our little secret, Professor Goode. Please."

"How exactly would you like to be punished then, little devil?"
Lucas~

Lucas 
has pretty much kept himself distant from Home for a while. But he's all about work and getting that dream job while protecting and providing for his brother. And that’s a secret none of his family knows. 
But what he really isn't planning to do is get involved with his wayward student. Who frustrates and intrigues him to no end. 
This is a dangerous thing for him. Yet he still invites her to live with him and as he and Sadie embark on a unique Dom/sub situation completely devoid of sex, or so they both believe.. but of course they both soon finds themselves getting sucked in deeper, while learning more about themselves than either of them ever did imagined.

"You're a brat. You know that, don't you, Miss Green?"

So when things become way too real for them and the attraction becomes intense. 
Things begin to change and feelings are involved … but can they ever continue on with how things were before? 
Can he Give up his Dream just to become more to Sadie, can he truly become a father to the child he had grown to love, could he let them go for a dream he had wanted for so long? 
Will Sadie demand more from Luke than he is willing to give? And if so what will the price be. 
All that while she continues to drive him insane.

"How exactly would you like to be punished then, little devil?"

"There's my girl. Show me how you get yourself off, Miss Green. Use my cck.. It's all yours."

 Sara Cate's Spice is definitely top notch! 

"And you won't tell anyone your English professor f@cks your pretty mouth, will you?"

And believe me there’s just so much more spice, it’s Sara Cate book after all. 

But ..This scene had me talking to myself “not there omg not now! “

"You like your professor f@cking you over your desk, Miss Green?"

 Yeah all on all a Good Read except for the fact that I’m peeve about the way he had to give up his Dream… yeah still thought it should have been a compromise and thought Sadie to be bratty and selfish…. Yeah that’s my thought.
