•My final book and final review for 2024! The sequel to Fourth Wing had a lot to live up to, and unfortunately it didn’t quite measure up for me. But it was still a fun ride! 

•My biggest problem with Iron Flame is the lack of editing, it was way too long and there were so many words and not enough happening. The ending was explosive and a lot happened but the journey to get there was exhausting and full of Violet complaining. 

•I also don’t know what it is about romantasy books but it’s always a strong independent FMC with a supportive MMC in book 1 and then in book 2 the MMC becomes so over protective and wants to put the FMC in a bubble. Please, this is so annoying and it’s not sexy. Xaden did chill out later in the book after Violet calls him out so I did appreciate that. 

•Anyways, I still love the dragons, enjoyed the politics and world. Xaden is still hot. Needs editing. That’s the summary of my review lol
