This book didn't really do anything for me, unfortunately. It's pretty short, and I still took 6 days to finish, which is almost a new record! I don't know exactly what it was, though. The whole thing just felt very superficial and like I was far away from it. I kept finding myself avoid listening to it, and only doing so during my night time routines, because listening to a few chapters of an audiobook every evening is part of that routine. The only reason I didn't DNF it, was because I wasn't interested in any of the other books I had available either. Oh well. It's over now, so better start looking for something else to read. I do own the while series, but I really don't think I'll keep reading it, as there's no over-all mystery or ARC leading into it, other than the last sentence of how rough life might be for the MC, and that's not enough for me.
