I really liked this story, and honestly, wanted to rate it five stars. But then everything went downhill. I think I knew deep down the MC was going to end up being the cure to everything, and was going to be the magical counterpart to the ML, but it was just frustrating seeing it play out so early and seeing the difficulties that occurred in writing from that early introduction. It felt like the story just began to slowly fall downhill from there in interest and enjoyment for me. Otherwise, it was okay.
