Japanese authors truly have a gift in making the quotidian life magical and unique, especially when it comes to animals and cats. This short book made me cry from missing having a cat, it made me laugh at the accuracy of cat's adventures and it astonished me on how powerful Lily was - she truly was the pillar of the story around which all the other characters pivoted.
