Lost Tribe of the Sith: The Collected Stories by John Jackson Miller
5.0
Honestly one of the most interesting arcs in the Star Wars Legends novels! In seeing this large group of the Sith, some seemingly more menacing than others, while others are more level headed, it makes you feel for them and finally humanize them, which unlike the movies, you might actually want to see these villains win their battles. This novel has many elements from many different Star Wars novels and comics. Many characters spoken of are in the Knights of the Old Republic comic series, while the ships the Omen and Harbinger are both spoken of in Crosscurrent (Paul S. Kemp). But most importantly, this novel lays the foundation for the actions and setting of the world of Kesh, for the eventual appearance of the Lost Tribe of the Sith in the Fate of the Jedi series. All in all, a very good read on its own, even without having read the other novels mentioned.
