This book is everything I hoped for and more. The book is long and I don’t read summaries or reviews until afterwards and i agree with some of the reviews on one point. It’s not a bad thing, but the beginning to middle of the book is very drawn out. However, I think that it was necessary for the story. But I’m not gonna lie, I did think to myself, “Am I going to have to DNF this book at like 20% because it’s taking so long to get to the point?” The truth is, this book has some emotional ties and baggage that you don’t get to until the middle to end of the book and the kind of drawn out nature of this book is necessary. The characters are well developed, and the plot has some surprises along the way . It is such a beautiful story, and I cannot wait to read the second one.
