Maya slowly and carefully fills in the pieces to her haunting experiences over the span of two days for the FBI. I read this book in only a few days. It's unsettling and cringeworthy at times and hopeful at others. A beautifully written psychological thriller. The Butterfly Garden is a traumatic tale but it is also a story filled with friendship and hope.
