This is one of those books that I feel morally wrong for liking, so I can’t rate it higher than a 4 ⭐️ but it may more objectively be a 5 ⭐️ for some readers (pending). For me, this book was so disturbing, but the writing was so beautiful. I couldn’t look away no matter how much I wanted to. I was really empathizing with our protagonist and then it ends like that!?
