I don't know... it was just ok? Maybe it was the setting that didn't grip me. Or maybe I just don't enjoy war stories, almost all of this book was me wondering what was going on despite my best attempt to pay attention. The first part was good and I liked it, but then it just took me forever to chip away at the rest of the book and then I was hit in the face with Chapter 21 and I was ready for the book to be over.
I don't think I'll be finishing the series. I just thought it was kind of boring personally. I have nothing profound or insightful here, I don't read for some intellectual awakening, I just wanna read things that are fun and enjoyable this definitely wasn't.
