Absolutely loved this book, I can see it being a strong contender for my book of the year (yes I know it’s only January!).
At times incredibly disheartening to see what women went through, it definitely made me feel very lucky for all the opportunities I have today as a woman, I’m definitely standing on the shoulders of all the women that have come before.
I thought the cast of characters was great, I mean who would have thought of a dog called Six Thirty. The book jumped around a bit on the timeline which sometimes I hate but actually felt very natural here to make the story develop how it should.
I can definitely see this book making the leap to the big screen soon (if it isn’t already doing so). Really thought it was just incredible.
