Concerning My Daughter features a homophobic protagonist who struggles to accept that her daughter is a lesbian and is downright rude to her and her partner when they move in with her. I liked seeing the way she struggled with this, knowing her feelings were wrong but often being unable to stop acting on them. A second storyline featured her care for a dementia patient, an intersting juxtaposition.
