A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
5.0
The book A Thousand Splendid Suns made me weep from within. It is the first time I read a book so real and so touching. This story showed me a side of Afghanistan I never knew of, about the wars and terrorists. It portrayed how much the women in Afghanistan suffered during that phase. I got attached to the main characters so much that I *literally* felt the pain and hardships they went through. The story was written very strikingly, it was written so understandably that I figured out the pattern of who ruled Afghanistan after their Kingship was taken over. I loved Khaled Hosseini's writing style! I suggest this book to everyone who would like to read something real and heart-touching for a change.
