Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

5.0

This is my new favourite book! I loved every minute of it. The banter was so entertaining. Each of the six main characters had strengths and flaws in equal amounts, making them realistic and impossible not to root for. The diversity was extremely well-done and didn't seem forced like so much media is--rather than adding diverse characters to check off a list, the author gave each character a backstory that showed us their culture and beliefs, giving us a reason to like them and see how they came to be a member of the Dregs. My favourite characters were Kaz and Inej. I can't wait for the second book.
