I was so happy to see this book as on option on NetGalley! I happened across the first volume a few years ago and instantly fell in love because of the art and myth portrayed. This second volume contains gorgeous illustrations, vast and well executed world building and lore, and loveable characters! I did have a little difficulty getting back into the story after having read the last one years ago, but anything I did not remember by the end of the second book was fleshed out in the index/glossary in the back. I cannot wait to see this book in person as the digital version does not do any justice to the vivid colors and beautiful paintings in this story.
