This one definitely wasn't as fun as the first one. Harper was so serious and self-conscious! She was so easily swayed by public perception.
I was also really frustrated by her hypocrisy. If you're so against something based on family experience, then why do the same thing to someone else? Taking it even further, why get mad when someone does it back? Don't dish it if you can't take it.
I wish I knew Brody better. He just seemed like the perfect "model" boyfriend with nice green eyes. What about his personality? He kept getting described as reckless, but none of his actions backed that up. Also, I hated the "love triangle" aspect. What's the point when you turn one guy into a villain? It's no fun when they have no redeeming qualities. I wish I understood more about why Harper and Kennedy got together in the first place.
Of all people, I feel like Sawyer was the most developed character here, and he was definitely my favourite. There were some real comedic gems with him! It makes me excited for the sequel, but I sincerely hope that we don't get more of the same "one-guy-is-awesome and the-other-one-sucks" (yeah, I'm talking about you, Sawyer and Aidan).
Also, I need more Tia and Will. They were so kooky and fun!
