This was a surprisingly fun story! On the eve of her 30th birthday Brynn, a Carson's Cove superfan, and her bartender roommate Josh get transported to the world of Carson's Cove and have to give the show the happy ending it never got.

Who hasn't daydreamed about being transported to the world of their favorite show? I liked that the story leans heavily into the tropes of teen shows making it relatable whether you were a fan of Dawson's Creek or One Tree Hill. It was a very fun read. I wanted a bit more of a explanation of the guy/the magic that transported them since it was left really open ended. I also felt the switch from casual acquaintances to love with Brynn and Josh was a little sudden. But overall I really loved this book and I'm interested to see what Kate Robb does next!
