Crying as I write this review. Everyone who knows me, knows that without my mother I am nothing. I have repeatedly said that I couldn’t exist in a world without her. Reading how Michelle went through the loss of her mother was such an emotional ride. Relating to trying to hold onto who she was because of her, her race and culture. You felt everything she felt. This was such an emotional and amazing read.
