Book 2 did not disappoint, continues the series to be another fun, quick and easy read. I also liked this one even better than the first. Daire is a grummmppyyy and I love a grumpy x sunshine mix. Sarah is funny and kind and I like her character as well.
What I liked more about this book is that your getting more character building, world building/ plots outside of The Questioning are weaving into the story.
And GRAM! Literally one of my favorite side characters thus far!
I'm so glad that I stumbled upon Katrina through Threads and have been able to dive into this series!
" I didn't think you could ever be mind," he grumbled not making eye contact as he spoke.
" I hated that. Hated thinking you'd probably pick someone else. But I think a part of me felt that you were mine all along."
