I really love that the book made both lead characters equals instead of how typical billionaire romance novels tend to have a power imbalance favoring the male lead. The story also avoided some of the tropes I absolutely despise from this genre: miscommunication, third act breakup, jumping to thinking the worst of the other, and stubborn female lead rejecting bodyguards
