I still really enjoy all of the references to food and the in-depth descriptions of them in this book, similarly to the first one. I was a bit worried that it would be somewhat ridiculous to have another mystery to solve so soon after the one from the first book, but it did work out fine here. There is still some awkwardness to the writing, but I find myself able to overlook it some because of how enthusiastic the author is in her treatment of her characters and their culture.
