☽ ˚•̩̩͙ EXTRAS: MY TOUGHTS TROUGHOUT THE BOOK ITSELF ☽ ˚•̩̩͙

Preface - Chapter 1:
I am already finishing the preface of the story quite fascinating and quite intriguing, and in itself its like it telling us what awaits in the story itself. - I am hoping this read will be enjoyable then my previous classic that I have read. Onto Chapter 1 of the story and I am captivated by the intro of the story itself, it adds a mystery to the story and to who is the portrait that was recently painted by Basil.
‘every portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter. the sitter is merely the accident, the occasion. it is not he who is revealed by the painter; it is rather the painter who, on the coloured canvas, reveals himself. the reason I will not exhibit this picture is that I am afraid that I have shown in it the secret of my own soul.’ - This is so well written that this might be the first quote I like in this classic read. Also I would like to think that every artist in someway and in truth always reveal something of themselves in their artworks of modern and old.
Also Basil seems quite obsessed with Dorian Gray in the first place, I can understand he is his muse and such but quite borderline obsessive about it, and even when he talks with his friend he thinks that if he meets him he might taint his mind.

Chapter 2 - 3:
So in truth it was Lord Henry fault in the first place… As in why Dorian got obsessed with the painting in the first place, as in Henry in putted a little worm in his head that the painting will remain youthful while he does not as such but we know how that is going to end.

Chapter 8-
So we got our first character death that might be cause of a heartbreak due to Dorian Gray himself, and now I am quite curious how his own self portrait is going to look like in the end of this book. I know for sure it will be his own downfall or something similar. - Forgot to post this.

1. My favrioute thus far has got to be the main character which is Dorian himself along with Basil, but he comes as a second. I don't really have anythig to say about Dorian but it is quite intresting seeing his character slowly change due to the changes of the protrait or rather when his own portrait starts to show what he is from the insire in truth.

2. His relationship with Lord Henry I do not think I like at all, after all he was the one that implemented in his head that when he age as such he will be nothing, and somehow got obbsesed with his painting more and more. And I blame him for doing so becouse I think if he did not say anything about that, I think the whole story of the book would be diffrent.
His relationship with Basil, I think it is okey I love the way Basil looked after him and often worries and such.

3. ch 7-10: In mean of Sibyl said that her love for Dorian prohibits her frm acting such emotions on stage, I would rather thing due that maybe is really in love with him and could not think of anything else half of the time. Alto, it was rather sad how thier relationship ended and how she ended up dead in the end becouse of what he had said to her. I am unsrue what her role is in the novel a love intrest or maybe just a character in the book to dive into more of the plor of the story after her sad demise.... I would say She was his obbsestion I mean he was obbsesed with her to behind with and really madly in love with her.
