This book was an incredible start to my Christmas TBR. I have never felt so many emotions in a book. I was angry, hopeful, happy, sad, excited and screaming at the spice. It was so much fun even though every chapter I felt an emotion I still really loved this book. It’s worth the hype. 

This book gives legally blonde vibes and follows Abbie who is in a serious relationship with a douchbag who does not take her seriously or appreciates anything she does. She is so excited to attend a work party at Richards lawfirm but when he goes to pick her up, he dumps her and leaves her on the cold street. After her girlfriends come round and drink the last four years of her relationship away they decide revenge is the only option. What better way of getting revenge and to start seeing Richards boss Damien Martinez. 

I’m so happy I read this. I loved Abbie and felt horrible that she had a toxic ex and didn’t realise the impact he did on her, she deserved so much better. Richard the ex made me so angry I wanted to punch him through the book. I also had to take a few breathers as he made me so angry in certain parts. Damien though 🥵 this dominant perfect species of a man. Where can I find one?! He was caring, companionate, understanding and dominant and he made me scream. This man is the definition of my ideal fictional man. I was rooting so hard for Abbie and Damien. The plot overall incredible. I was on edge of my seat wanting to know how the plot would go down and loved every minute as I didn’t know what would happen.

Now I had three things that annoyed me but there minimal so I’m not knocking my rating back. The 5 stars is deserved… but Damien put his rude finger up a few times due to a few incident which I didn’t feel it was his personality. Cam the best friend to Abbie was getting on my nerves and encouraging her to keep going ahead with the revenge plot. The last thing which is more of a me issue is the use of the pet name Honey for the MMC. I struggle with pet names in general so this is a me issue. But I did love the pet names the MMC had for her. 

Fantastic Christmas read and so worth all the emotions I experience! Highly recommend.
