it took me a bit to get into, but then I was hooked.
and when it came to Part 2, I didn't expect the twists and turns the story would take.
a really enjoyable and short read or rather listen in my case.
overall there were a lot of themes (racism, classism, toxic relationships, etc.), but those only got cursory glances and nothing seemed to be resolved by the end of the story.
