After the high point with the four already awakened Claymores, the series goes back into the normal pacing, which is quite a natural thing to happen. Still going strong, though.

Re-reading it, Ilena's sacrifice feels a lot more powerful - Clare carrying the legacy of both Teresa and Ilena is quite interesting. However, the time runs too fast (or so it seems, I'm not sure how much time passes), and Clare's training seems to be nigh-instantaneous. Perhaps it would've been a good place to actually dive deeper, and allow us discover a bit more of the universe.
