This was an adorable little addition to the last Sanderson Box shipped in 2024. It's a noir gumshoe detective story with an ingenious little twist for where in time its actively placed, which is teased out very slowly across the story. I have a fond love for all things Sanderson, and found myself smiling delightedly through this and all the narrative slang of the time.
