Angela Y. Davis is new to me, as I am brand new in my learning about abolition. I thought this series of interviews and speeches was very helpful in understanding the topic of abolition when it applies to eradicating the industrial prison complex. I will definitely be reading more of Angela Y. Davis' work. The list of topics to research, books to read, and documentaries to watch from this one book is 1.5 pages long. I can't wait to get started.
