In this book LaTasha Morrison helps us explore topics important to racial reconciliation. She starts the book by urging us to be learners coming to the topic in a spirit of humility. She then covers topics such as lament, repentance, confession, forgiveness, making amends, and reconciliation. Ms Morrison "helps us explore" by providing questions at the end of every chapter. I would say that unless you are willing to take the time to work through the questions, either individually or as a group, the book will be worthless to you. It takes humility and time to "do the work", but I really encourage you to get a copy of this book and approach it with a teachable spirit, willing to learn and to make changes. I borrowed this book from the library, but I'll be buying a copy to own.
