The Ninth Grave by Stefan Ahnhem

3.0

I must admit I didn’t enjoy Ninth Grave as much as Stefan Ahnem’s first book in the Fabian Risk series, The Man without a face. I found this a little too long and a bit convoluted. Overall a good read but far too plot driven for me and kind of like a thriller for the sake of it while trying to do justice to the shocking topic of organ harvesting. I’m a bit tired of Nordic crime thrillers that don’t delve into character and atmosphere. This one was a bit linear for me. I’ll try the next one but won’t be rushing to read it.
