Writing My Wrongs by Shaka Senghor

5.0

This is a page turner. This book is about his life as a teen trying to live life in the streets of Detroit. He quickly finds himself trying to fend for himself and make a living selling drugs. As he gets caught up, event after event drastically changes the course of his life and he finds himself in prison for murder. While serving his sentence he finds himself making the most and the best of his time so that when released, he comes out ready to lead a productive life and one of purpose. So worth reading. I read the book last summer and listened to the audiobook, which is narrated by Shaka himself, over the last two days.
