This was a fun short and smutty read following up after Not So Kind Regards.

The story follows different employees from the same company as the book before and that instantly makes for a great setting with familiar characters all around. The book starts with a scene where the characters are immediately lusting after each other, which is exactly how I start my smutty romance books to get going.

I really loved it how the bigger guy wasn't the dom all the time and seeing him being all submissive. I really enjoyed Cinder being dominant instead and taking the lead during the smutty scenes. All three of them together worked really well to be honest and complimented each personality in a fun way.

What I really appreciated as well was the way Cinders gender was handled. With the talk about introducing yourself with pronouns it was just great to see a simple acceptance. But even more it was so validating to see the conversation happening on how they are supposed to call certain parts of their bodies. I know all too well how certain words can take out all the fun in a second so it was very relatable to see a conversation with boundaries happening and simply good to see.

The plot around the company that picks off after the last book is pretty fun and gives the book the right amount of story to happen around the sexy moments. There were plot twists I didn't see coming and fighting scenes that were a lot of fun.

Out of the smutty moments the last scene is absolutely my favorite and I actually still come back to it. The dynamics between the characters is a lot of fun when they then cared for each other and gave that love back in the way they have sex. Next to that the kinky bits that happened in that scene are right up my alley so it was just a good moment altogether.

I really enjoyed this book and I will be sure to read the next in the series.
